„Hip Hop is dead“ Nas said in one of his tracks. The DJ from our first Souldiction Guestmix shows us that it’s not. Soundtrax made a lovely 30min Mix with some of the most current Hip Hop tracks.
Who is Soundtrax?
Soundtrax grew up in Heidelberg and spent his youth there while the city was busy making German HipHop history. He is one member of the “360 Grad Heros SoundSystem“ (the other 2 are DJ Step and Can la Rock) and he is also the Tour DJ of German HipHop Legends Torch and Toni L. He is now living in Cologne, Germany. He has been a DJ since the 90s and you can hear that in the way he mixes and cuts in his DJ Sets, inspired by legends like DJ Premier or DJ Jazzy Jeff.
If you are in Cologne you can check him every first saturday of the month at "Underground" at „Naturalfunk“, for other cities and dates check his myspace site.
